MIR-Email Terms of Service
Last updated: October 19, 2026
1. About these terms
These terms apply to MIR-Email, a Windows program made available by MIR-AI (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using MIR-Email you agree to them. If you use it for a business, you agree on behalf of that business.
2. Free of charge
MIR-Email is free. We grant you a free, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to download, install and use it, for personal or business purposes, on as many computers as you like. You may share the unmodified program with others. You may not sell it, or remove or change its name or notices.
3. Your email account and your content
- MIR-Email sends email from your own account with your provider (for example Google or Microsoft). Your use of that account remains subject to your provider's terms and sending limits.
- You are responsible for the emails you send, the people you send them to, the attachments you include, and the customer lists you load.
- Your data stays on your computer; see the MIR-Email Privacy Policy.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use MIR-Email to:
- send email to people who have not agreed to receive it, or otherwise break anti-spam laws such as Canada's CASL, the US CAN-SPAM Act or the EU GDPR;
- send fraudulent, deceptive, phishing, harassing or unlawful content, or malware;
- impersonate another person or organisation, or send from an address you are not allowed to use;
- get around your email provider's limits or security measures.
Marketing emails should identify you as the sender and offer a way to unsubscribe.
5. Third-party services
MIR-Email works with services run by others, including Google, Microsoft, Resend, your email or hosting provider, and Thunderbird's public settings database. We do not control those services, and their own terms and privacy policies apply to them.
6. No warranty
MIR-Email is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that every email will be delivered, that the program will be free of errors, or that it will keep working with every email provider. Always send a test email first.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MIR-AI is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, lost profits, lost data, or for emails that were sent, not sent or sent to the wrong people, arising from your use of MIR-Email. Because MIR-Email is free, our total liability for any claim is limited to CAD $0, or the lowest amount allowed by law.
8. Changes and ending
We may update MIR-Email or these terms, and we may stop offering the program. Updated terms are posted on this page with a new date. You may stop using MIR-Email at any time by deleting it and its settings files.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
